The BENDER IR125Y-4 is an insulation monitoring device (IMD) designed to monitor the insulation resistance of unearthed AC and DC systems (IT systems). Unlike devices that evaluate voltage asymmetry, the IR125Y-4 utilizes the active AMP measuring principle, enabling the detection of both symmetrical and asymmetrical insulation faults. The device does not require an external power supply as it draws power from the monitored system itself.
